Application Deadlines

REQUIREMENT: Students who want to study abroad in semester and/or summer programs MUST first consult with the study abroad office, and complete a Transylvania Study Abroad Application.

Summer 2012, and 2012 – 2013 Academic Year

Summer E-S U Scholarship applications due
Juniors only - requires two faculty recommentation letters
     
October 24, 2011  
Summer E-S U Scholarship interviews
Transy may nominate two students to KY E-SU branch in Louisville
     
January 9, 2012  
Summer Transy Scholarship applications due
Sophomores and Juniors are eligible; Juniors have preference. Requires cover sheet, essay, transcript, and two faculty recommendation forms
     
January 20, 2012  
Summer KIIS early discount (Save $100 on fee) applications due
Application to be done on-line, PLUS one faculty recommendation form from KIIS website (form is similar to Transy)
May be from same professor who did Transy form
Student should give form with stamped envelope, addressed to KIIS, to faculty member
     
February 15, 2012   Summer KIIS regular program applications due
     
March 1, 2012  
Summer KIIS scholarship applications due
Requires TYPED cover form, essay, financial aid form, and letter from professor in major but must not be written by the person who did the recommendation for the KIIS program application
     
March 9, 2012  
Fall 2012 and Winter 2013 applications due to Transy
Requires cover sheet, essay, transcript, two faculty recommendation forms
