Transylvania provides a combination of services to meet students’ basic health care needs.
A
registered nurse is on campus Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. to provide
routine care and first-aid treatment. The health office also serves as a resource
center for health-related topics and referral to other health services, including
the University’s counseling services. The office is in the back lobby
of Forrer Hall across from the Department of Public Safety.
Additional health resources are readily available, but students or their health insurance providers must cover the fee for these services.
