We strive to provide an ecumenical and inter-faith pastoral presence that appropriately engages the entire Transylvania community.
To accomplish this, the Office of Interreligious Life advises faith-based student organizations, coordinates church-related internships, provides social justice and interreligious programming. Our associate dean of interreligious life provides resources for all faith-based student organizations, monitors campus religious activities to ensure that they are consistent with the liberal arts mission of the college, and provides spiritual counseling for students, faculty, and staff.
Transylvania University admits students regardless of age, race, color, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, national origin, or any other classification protected by federal or state law or local ordinance.
